Admin Usage Guide
The module has one admin screen per content type — all reachable from the addon’s own left menu.
1. Dashboard
The landing page gives you the whole picture at a glance:
- Counts — total, internal, PHP, external pages and drafts.
- Page views — lifetime views with month-over-month trend.
- SEO health — an overall score based on missing meta data.
- Traffic chart — the last 30 days.
- Top & recent pages.
- Geo overlay — views by country (All / 30-day / 7-day).
- System health — broken generated routes and template-cache status.
- Quick actions: Clear Template Cache and Export Routes.
There are + quick-add buttons to jump straight to creating a new Internal, PHP or External page.
2. Internal Pages
Internal pages render inside your active client-area theme as normal Smarty pages.
Adding a page
- Title and URL slug — the slug is auto-generated from the title and can be edited. With SEO Friendly URLs on this becomes the pretty URL.
- Parent — nest the page under another page to build a sub-page hierarchy & sidebar menu.
- HTML Content — rich-text (TinyMCE) editor, or raw HTML.
- Page Template — choose a saved layout (see Sidebars & Templates).
- Sidebars — select the sidebar widgets to show; the selection order is the display order.
- Meta — title / description / keywords with live preview.
- Require Login, Comments (Disqus), Publish, Redirect link.
- Translations — add translated content per available language using the language tabs.
- Add to the client-area navbar (primary/secondary), optionally under a parent, with display order.
Edit / Duplicate / Delete / Save as Template actions are available on each page, plus a Publish / Unpublish toggle.
3. PHP Pages
PHP Pages generate a real .php file in the WHMCS root plus a matching Smarty template, so you get full WHMCS framework access.
- Title and File name — becomes
WHMCS_ROOT/<name>.php+templates/<theme>/<name>.tpl. - PHP Code — the body of the PHP file (CodeMirror editor, with a sample to start from). Executed before the page renders, in a WHMCS-bootstrapped context.
- Template Code — the Smarty markup rendered on the page (assigned sidebar widgets are shown automatically).
- Meta title/description/keywords with live SEO preview.
- Require Login, Navbar, Publish, Stay on page, Sidebars.
.php/.tpl files carry a Pages Manager marker comment. The module only ever overwrites or deletes files that carry that marker — it will never clobber your own code.
Protected names — WHMCS core file names (init.php, configuration.php, index.php, …) cannot be used.
Publish/Unpublish regenerates the file; drafts are served through a matching 404 gate.
With SEO Friendly URLs on, PHP pages are served at /<name>.html (with .html) or /<name> (extensionless).
