Pages Managerfor WHMCS · Documentation
v7.0.0

Requirements & Install

What you need before uploading Pages Manager, and how to activate it.

Requirements

  • WHMCS 8.x or 9.x — the module is IonCube encoded, so your server needs the matching IonCube Loader for your PHP version.
  • A valid license key — entered in the module settings after activation. The key is emailed after purchase and is also available in the client area under Account → My Products → manage product.
  • Apache with mod_rewrite enabled.
  • Write access to modules/addons/page/templates_c/, assets/uploads/, and (for SEO) the WHMCS root .htaccess + root directory.
  • PHP and MySQL/MariaDB (the database used by WHMCS).
License required — after activating the module, click Configure and enter the License key you received by email (or from the client area: Account → My Products → manage product). The module will not run until a valid key is saved.

Install

  1. Upload the module folder — copy modules/addons/page/ into your WHMCS installation:
WHMCS_ROOT/modules/addons/page/
    page.php ← addon entry point
    hooks.php ← client-area + admin hooks
    whmcs.json ← module metadata
    logo.png
    README.md
    assets/ ← uploads and images
    lang/ ← language files
lib/ ← namespaced classes (Api, Admin controllers)
    templates/ ← admin + client Smarty templates
    templates_c/ ← compiled templates (auto-created)
  1. Activate the addon — in the WHMCS admin area go to Configuration → System Settings → Addon Modules, find Pages Manager and click Activate.
  2. Enter your license key — click Configure, paste the License key you received by email (or from the client area: Account → My Products → manage product) and save. The module validates the key automatically and will not run until a valid key is saved.
  3. Open the module — click the module name to open the Dashboard.
  4. (Optional) Configure — on Settings, enable SEO Friendly URLs if you want pretty URLs, add your Disqus usernameholmm, and choose the available translation languages. See Settings & SEO.

What activation does

Activation creates the hsc_pm_* tables, seeds the default External shells (Page Header, Page Footer, Homepage), the Default Template, and auto-migrates any data left behind by the legacy v6 mod_* tables.

Upgrading from v6

  1. Take a database backup.
  2. Upload the new page folder over the old one (see Install).
  3. Re-activate — the module automatically migrates your v6 Internal pages, PHP pages, External pages, templates and settings into the new hsc_pm_* tables.
  4. Open the Dashboard to confirm everything migrated.
Legacy preservation — the old mod_* tables are left in place during migration and are only removed on deactivation if "Delete Module Database" is enabled.
