Page types

Internal Pages

Smarty pages rendered inside your active client theme, with full WHMCS client-area variables and the language system. Ideal for FAQ, About, Terms, custom landing pages.

Internal PHP Pages

Real .php files in the WHMCS root with matching Smarty templates. Full WHMCS framework access (DB, Smarty, email, hooks).

External Pages

Fully standalone HTML pages deployed to their own domain/subdomain — for sales pages, landing pages, marketing funnels.

Sidebar Widgets

Reusable widget boxes (content, links, image) assigned to any page, rendered in the client-sidebar.

Internal Pages

Hierarchy & structure

  • Parent / sub-page hierarchy — pages can be nested under a parent, and the parent automatically builds a sub-page sidebar menu with breadcrumbs.
  • Sort / display order for sub-pages and menus.
  • Required login gate — force visitors to log in before viewing.
  • Redirect link — optionally redirect a page to an external URL.

Visitors & engagement

  • Multi-language translations of page content, per available language.
  • Disqus comments with your configured Disqus shortname.
  • Visit counting — once per session/visitor cookie.
  • Publish / unpublish (draft) toggle.

SEO

  • Per-page meta title, description and keywords injected into the page <head>, with live preview.
  • Optional SEO Friendly URL (see Settings & SEO) — served at /about.html (with .html) or /about (extensionless).

Internal PHP Pages

  • Generate a real .php file in the WHMCS root plus a matching Smarty template in templates/<theme>/.
  • Full access to the WHMCS framework: Capsule (DB), Smarty, email, hooks — from a Smarty-bootstrapped PHP context.
  • Each generated file and template carries a module marker comment; the module only ever overwrites or deletes files that carry that marker — it will never clobber your own code.
  • Protected WHMCS core file names (init.php, configuration.php, index.php, etc.) cannot be used.
  • Publish/unpublish regenerates the file — drafts are served through a matching 404 gate.
  • SEO Friendly URLs — served at /name.html (with .html) or /name (extensionless).

External Pages

  • Fully standalone HTML pages, deployed as a self-contained site — not served on the WHMCS URL.
  • Rendered to templates/external/<name>.tpl and deployed with the bundled index.php + config.php + .htaccess.
  • Bundled Page Header / Page Footer / Homepage shells, editable in the module.
  • Template variables: {$charset}, {$companyname}, {$pagetitle}, {$keywords}, {$description}, {$WEB_ROOT}, {$systemurl}, {$homeurl}, {$domain}, {$nav}.
  • Protected rows (header, footer, homepage) cannot be renamed or deleted.

  • Four widget types: Content, Links, Content + Links, Image.
  • Per-page assignment using a multi-select; displayed in selection order.
  • Image widgets: upload (JPG/PNG/GIF/WebP), click-through link, "open in new tab" option; images sized to fit the sidebar.
  • Rendered as WHMCS ClientAreaPrimarySidebar panels; links render as real sidebar menu items.

Analytics Dashboard

  • Metric cards: page counts by type, lifetime page views + month-over-month trend, SEO health score.
  • 30-day traffic chart.
  • Top/recent pages and geographic view overlay (All / 30-day / 7-day ranges).
  • System health panel (broken generated routes, template cache status).
  • One-click Clear Template Cache and Export Routes.
  • Injected into the primary and secondary client-area navbar.
  • Optional nesting under a parent item and custom display order.
