Admin Usage Guide

The four module tabs, in the order you will use them.

1. Dashboard (landing tab)

Four KPI cards — Active Pending (includes review-held), Scheduled Today, Canceled This Month (win-backs), Completed (all-time, cron-logged) — above three charts:

  • Cancellation Trend (line): submitted / completed / canceled with Last 30 Days, Last 12 Months and Year to Date switcher; updates via token-protected AJAX without reload.
  • Churn Reasons (doughnut) from the exit survey.
  • Grace Period Distribution (bar): 0–3 / 4–7 / 8–14 / 15+ days.

Export Summary Report downloads the current range view as CSV. Trend history reads the activity log, so it survives request-row deletion (subject to log retention).

Homepage widgets

The WHMCS admin homepage offers two module widgets (enable them from the homepage Customize panel):

  • Delete/Close Requests — pending, approval and due-today stats with a grace-distribution bar and an Open Dashboard button.
  • Delete/Close Win-backs — win-back, completed and survey stats beside a churn-reason doughnut, with a centered View Surveys button.

2. Requests

Every request: client (linked profile), request/end dates, remaining days, finance Flags count, and status (Requested green / Review amber / Canceled gray, plus +ext marker). Row actions:

  • Approve (review rows only, hidden once canceled) — starts the grace countdown from approval day.
  • Cancel — revokes the request (logged); the client notice disappears.
  • Delete — removes the row (logged); countdown and cron handling end.
  • Export CSV (top-right) — all requests with emails and review state.

Client profiles with a live request also show a red summary banner linking back here.

3. Surveys

Reason breakdown bars with percentages, plus the 200 most recent answers (client, reason, free text, date) and its own Export CSV.

4. Settings

One AJAX page (toast per save, no refresh). Every save writes a single audit entry naming each changed value, e.g. Days 15 > 30; Finance Guard warn > block. See Settings Reference for every option.
