Troubleshooting

The usual suspects, fastest fixes first.

Settings toast says saved but values revert

• Checkboxes (Review, 2FA, Save Offer, Enable) use hidden fallbacks — unchecking and saving turns them off; if one sticks, hard-refresh (Ctrl+F5) and retry.
• Stale compiled templates — after uploading new files, delete modules/addons/deleteAccount/templates_c/*.php so Smarty rebuilds the forms.
• Session expiry — a Session expired popup means the admin token went stale: log back in, reload, save again.
• The Activity Log tells the truth: each save logs what changed (or no changes when the post matched the database).

Modal won't open / spins forever

• Confirm the module is Enabled and the client is logged in as owner (or a flagged sub-user).
• On sidebar-less templates use the #deleteaccount deep link.
• Check the browser console for JS errors from template conflicts; the modal needs jQuery + the WHMCS #modalAjax container.

Cron skips a due request

• Review-held rows never execute until Approved (approval restarts the grace countdown).
• Finance Guard in block mode skips clients with unpaid balances — see the finance log entries.
• Canceled rows (status = on) are ignored by design.

Dashboard charts empty / code email missing

• Completed = 0 until the cron logs its first complete entry; trend history is bounded by log retention.
• No verification email — check the Delete/Close Account Verification Code template exists under Configuration → System Settings → Email Templates and mail is sending; codes expire after 10 minutes.
• No table sort arrows — ensure templates/admin/assets/img/datatables/*.png uploaded with the module.
