Delete/Close Account for WHMCS

Give clients the ability to request account closure or deletion from the client area — with password confirmation, captcha, verification codes, grace periods, approvals, safeguards and full audit logging. The request flows through native WHMCS modals: password check, an auto-sent email verification code, an exit survey that can trigger a win-back offer, and a confirm step showing safeguard warnings and finance balances. High-value requests pause for manual admin approval, a finance guard blocks or warns on unpaid balances while leftover credit is kept, applied or forfeited, and the daily cron executes due requests and logs each completion. Admins watch it all from an analytics dashboard with KPI cards, trend, churn and grace charts plus CSV exports, while every action — including each changed setting — lands in an attributed audit trail with IP and browser.

What it does

Clients request closure or deletion themselves through a native WHMCS modal. The request sits in a configurable grace period (extendable once), during which the client can still cancel. When the countdown ends, the daily cron executes it via closeclient / deleteclient. Every step is admin-visible and audit-logged.

Beyond a simple delete button

  • Exit survey + win-back offers — learn why clients leave, optionally offer a discount to keep them.
  • Approvals & finance guard — hold high-value requests for review; block or warn on unpaid balances; settle leftover credit.
  • Email verification code — optional 6-digit second factor, auto-sent when the step opens.
  • Analytics dashboard — pending/due/win-back/completed KPIs, trend, churn and grace charts with CSV export.
  • Audit everything — actor attribution, IP, browser, and a per-change settings history.
