Modal endpoints and the password-update flow.
Modal endpoints
addonmodules.php?module=ChangePassword&a=index&userid=… serves the form as AJAX {body} markup. store persists the new password (POST + token), password generates a random one sized to the configured length.
Flow
- Admin clicks Change Password in the manage-users dropdown or opens the profile tab input.
- Modal loads with user name/email and a password field + generator.
- On save, the password is updated, an audit row is written, and the Change User Password email is sent if the checkbox is ticked (merge field
user_password).
