What you need and how to activate the module.

Requirements

• WHMCS 8.x or 9.x.
• PHP as required by your WHMCS version.
• No license key — the module runs as soon as it is activated.

Upload & install

1. Upload ChangePassword/ into WHMCS_ROOT/modules/addons/.
2. Activate at Configuration → System Settings → Addon Modules.
3. Choose the admin roles that may change user passwords — Configuration → System Settings → Addon Modules; tick them in WHMCS’s built-in Access Control list next to Change User Password. WHMCS denies access when no role is ticked, so tick at least your own role.
4. Set the password length, character types and log retention on the module’s own Settings page (?p=settings).

Activation creates the hsc_cp_settings and hsc_cp_log tables and seeds default settings.
