Release history for Menu Manager — features, updates and fixes.

2.0.0

Fresh rewrite on the modern addon architecture (namespaced classes, Smarty admin UI, AJAX grid). Everything below shipped in this rewrite unless noted.

New features

  • Primary and secondary navbar management with per-login-state visibility (Visitors / Clients).
  • Stock menu tree imported automatically on activation; first-view live capture afterwards.
  • Multi-language menu labels with WHMCS language-file fallback (translation → customized label → language file).
  • Per-item FontAwesome icon and CSS class — emptying the field clears it (divider classes are protected).
  • Dynamic badges — services, domains, invoices, tickets and credit counters, plus badge color pickers.
  • Click tracking with per-item counters, beacon delivery and a dashboard chart.
  • Sticky navbar, template picker and menu color studio (Six, Twenty-One, Nexus); phone-safe output.
  • Activity log with retention, daily cron pruning, clear button and readable change details.
  • Dashboard with animated stat cards, clicks chart and recent-activity panel.
  • AJAX admin with toast confirmations, SweetAlert confirms and a DataTables log grid.

Updates & improvements

  • Translation editor redesign — one labeled field per language (English Label first) instead of generic language dropdown rows.
  • Untouched labels follow WHMCS — items you never renamed keep their language-file text in every language (tracked per row, set on edit).
  • Simpler item editor — the Menu dropdown was reduced to Primary/Secondary and then removed entirely (page/tab decides); dividers are excluded from the Parent picker.
  • Status switch — the three-state dropdown became WHMCS's native slide-toggle-mini on/off switch (Hidden and Disabled behave identically).
  • Modal discipline — cancelling the editor no longer refreshes/flashes the grid; saves are detected from the response.
  • Settings save — AJAX with a top-right toast, a clear session-expired message, and log details showing exactly what changed (Update: Keep activity log 90 > 30).
  • Available Languages — Choices.js multi-select matching Pages Manager, seeded from the WHMCS default language.
  • Twenty-One/Nexus polish — badge pill styling, Account-menu coloring, box-style hovers without underlines, Nexus bar slimming and taller boxes with a raised “More” threshold.
  • Mobile output — all module CSS gated to 992px and up; sticky force-disabled below it.
  • Log grid — per-action badge colors, admin ID beside the name, DataTables search/sort/paging.
  • Color fields — MiniColors pickers with upward opening near the languages field and correct dropdown stacking.

Fixes

  • Stored English labels no longer erase WHMCS translations — the engine leaves untouched items' live labels alone.
  • False “More” collapse — oversized boxes tripping the templates' 30px rule are kept within limits (Nexus gets a raised threshold).
  • Lost click counts — navigation-cancelled POSTs replaced with guaranteed sendBeacon delivery.
  • Retired debug setting — purged from the settings table on sight, never imported again.
  • Grid cleanup — removed the duplicated label-path line (“Home X / Home X / Home”) for top-level items.
  • Translation saving — legacy posted keys ignored; language codes strictly validated.
