What is PushOver?
Pushover is a platform for sending and receiving push notifications. On the server side, we provide an HTTP API for queueing messages to deliver to devices addressable by User or Group Keys. On the device side, our iOS, Android, and Desktop clients receive those push notifications, show them to the user, and store them for offline viewing. With our Android, iPhone & iPad, and Desktop Browser clients, you can receive unlimited push notifications on all of your devices from dozens of websites, services, and applications that already integrate with Pushover. Just supply your Pushover User Key or your Pushover e-mail address and you'll be getting push notifications in an instant.
Why do you need PushOver 2FA?
The unofficial PushOver Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for WHMCS is sometimes called multiple factor authentication. In simple terms, it adds an extra layer of security to every online platform you access. The first layer is generally a combination of a username and password. Adding one more step of authenticating your identity makes it harder for an attacker to access your data.
How it works?
After activating the PushOver Two-Factor Authentication module for WHMCS admins and users need to register at PushOver website https://pushover.net and create the API tokens by navigate to Account > Create New Application/API Token then copy the User Key and API tokens after that enter the API information in the PushOver Two-Factor Authentication module.
