Downloading the Latest Version
- Begin by logging in to the client area @ https://www.hardsoftcode.com/clientarea.php
- Navigate to My Account menu > My Products
- Select one of your active license keys and click View Details
- The latest new release will be displayed along with the data of release for verification
Performing an Upgrade
- Take a full backup of your database using a tool such as phpMyAdmin
- Next, unzip the contents of the simple blog zip file download to a folder on your computer
- Delete the old files for the simple blog from your installation in this directory "/modules/addons/blog"
- If you are using the blog on a subdomain you need to delete the files
- Go to our client area and reissue your license
- Upload the simple blog new files to your existing installation folder
- If you are using the blog on a subdomain upload the new files to your blog subdomain
- Login to admin area go to Addons > Simple Blog
