How To Upgrade Facebook Messenger

Downloading the Latest Version

  1. Begin by logging in to the client area @ https://www.hardsoftcode.com/clientarea.php
  2. Navigate to My Account menu > My Products
  3. Select one of your active license keys and click View Details
  4. The latest new release will be displayed along with the data of release for verification

Performing an Upgrade

  1. Take a full backup of your database using a tool such as phpMyAdmin
  2. Next, unzip the contents of the facebook messenger zip file download to a folder on your computer
  3. Delete the old files for the facebook messenger from your installation in this directory "/modules/addons/FacebookMessenger"
  4. Upload the facebook messenger new files to your existing installation folder
  5. WHMCS 7 Login to admin area go to SETUP > ADDON MODULES
  6. WHMCS 8 Login to admin area go to Configuration () > System Settings > Addon Modules
  7. In the addon modules page you will see the facebook messenger module click configure to see the facebook messenger options
